History
Proposals is a family owned boutique which opened in May of 2004. Dawne Vandiver and her sister, Shannon Aston partnered to open a small boutique with beautiful gowns from the best not all of which are currently available in our area. At Proposals, you will find an intimate setting with personal attention.

Bridal
For our brides we offer 1 ½ hour bridal appointments. During your appointment, you will have the opportunity to try on dresses in different styles by fabulous . You will leave Proposals with the perfect gown or the vision of how you want to look on your wedding day.

We host 1 hour bridesmaid parties too. You will have the opportunity to choose several bridesmaid gowns for your friends to try on and make it fun for everyone. We have a wide selection of dresses sure to please any bridesmaid!

We haven’t forgotten the flower girl either. We currently carry several lines of flower girl attire that is affordable and can be worn again!

The Mother of the bride and groom are an important part of the wedding party. We want you to look your best. We carry a wide variety of sizes and styles to fit your style and budget. We are working to make this day special for everyone.

Debutante, Special Occasion dresses and Ball Gowns
Whether you are chairing an event or attending, Proposals is the place for stress free shopping. We have shopped the markets in Dallas, Atlanta, and New York for something special. We know that you don’t want to look like everyone else at your event so we are working hard to bring you the best new styles every season.

Graduation, Homecoming, Prom, and Guest of Dresses
Many schools have special requirements for graduation, homecoming, and prom. At Proposals, we offer a large selection of dresses that will be appropriate for any school setting. Proposals stocks many dresses that can be purchased or special ordered for graduation. It’s important to know that if you are ordering your gown, it could take up to 12 weeks so it’s important to shop early.

Whether it’s flirty and fun or sophisticated and elegant, we have your Homecoming and Prom dress at Proposals! Our consultants are ready to help you pick out the perfect dress for the big night!

For the guest of any occasion, we have great suits, and cocktail clothes that will be perfect whenever and where ever you are going.
